Welcome to Parliament Crossfit
We are a small, garage-gym that concentrates on intimate, personal training sessions. We begin by teaching you the foundational movements of CrossFit, then progress from there.
Our trainers have a long history of CrossFit training and are in careers that demand a high level of fitness…they know what works.
Do you want to be a CrossFit Games competitor or do you want to be more able to carry your granddaughter? Do you want to try out for military Special Operations selection or do you want to feel better playing recreational hockey? Whatever your goal, we can help you.
What Is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that combines exercises/movements from several disciplines including powerlifting, Olympic lifting, sprinting, gymnastics, among others. Using the CrossFit vernacular, the program involves “constantly varied, functional movements, performed at high-intensity”. The “high-intensity” part can be better described as “relatively high-intensity”…in other words, the workouts can be modified or “scaled” to ensure it is appropriate for any level of fitness.
As effective as it is, CrossFit is intended to be a very challenging strength and conditioning regime…you get out of it what you put into it.
